Alright ladies, today’s look is all about cozy and finding the cutest sweaters to throw on and go. My favourite go-to outfit around the house is actually leggings, a tee and this sweater–it’s a little oversized, quite thick and just super warm.
I love pairing cardigans with jeans and a tee for a casual look, but also over a dress as a second layer to add interest. It can be really well done if you layer the same colour on colour too; very chic. Today is casual comfort though, for running errands, hanging out with family or a casual weekend day of exploring the city (or river-side, in my case).

While I love sweaters, cardigans serve a different purpose to add a great layering element to your look. Depending on the length of your neck and how busty you are, that will play a role in what to pair underneath. If you’re on the shorter side, or busty, ideally you’ll want to wear a v-neck or scoop neck top underneath. This will balance out the proportions of an oversized sweater and keep you from looking like you’re drowning in excess fabric.
If you’re smaller chested or have a longer neck, you can easily pull off a crew neck tank or tee underneath, and the look will be long and streamlined. Another idea is to go with something fitted, as well, like a bodysuit, which are everywhere currently.
For both though, don’t be afraid to go with what feels best, these are just suggestions. As an aside, it’s really pretty for photos too if you let one side of the cardigan fall off the shoulder a little–that kind of sounds cheesy, but don’t knock it till you try it!
