Today I’m sharing a bunch of random snaps from my camera roll, a bunch you’ve already seen on Instagram but with all the details. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m such a pants/shorts girl and Summertime is no different. I like to pair pants with something sleeveless or more Summery on top and sandals to balance out the look.
The look above is from the H&M fitting room and I purchased both pieces that day. I’m such a sucker for neutrals and olive green is a current fave. Both pieces were super on sale and although it feels weird buying cooler weather pieces, Fall will be here before we know it (plus, I’ve already worn the knit top anyway!).
I love that flares are coming back in a big way this year–the 70’s trend is really fun to play with. I went full on boho with this look with the kimono and it felt really pretty (and forgiving in a I-can-eat-a-big-lunch, kind of way).
A denim jacket is a closet staple and mine is actually several years old and a thrift store find. This one actually doesn’t have any stretch, which isn’t ideal, but the wash and thick cuffs make up for it. I love how it’s casual but the indigo colour keeps the outfit slightly more polished.
Another all-black-errthang outfit for Summer but it feels chic with the statement silver accessories and edgy heels. This is an easy go to for a night out or on those days where you ‘have nothing to wear’!
This lace top is an oldie but goodie, and something I wear on a bi-weekly basis. Paired with the floral pants it just screams Summer, but in a professional way — perfect for a business casual office. I paired it with my trusty neon heels to add a pop of colour.
This was the day I purchased these amazing Supra hi-tops, which I’ve been wearing non-stop in the gym. They feel fresher than my usual trainers and just a fun way to kick up your style (provided you’re not doing cardio–then we would just look silly).
